We had a great trip to Canada! We caught up with friends, enjoyed the weather and had a great time showing our dogs. With the exception of BJ testing out the health care system in Canada, it was a great trip!
Jolene - Continues to amaze us! She finished her Canadian championship all in one day! Her most prestigious win was going Best of Winners and Best Bred by at the English Setter Club of Canada National Specialty!
Trent and River got in a lot of practice in the ring! Between the 4 all breed shows, 2 puppy sweepstakes, 3 specialty shows and 2 rounds of Juniors, they were tired puppies by then end of it all! River's highlight was going 2nd in the ESCC National Juniors class, behind Daynica and then he won his huge all-breed Juniors class the next day! They finished off the weekend by going reserve winners dog and best puppy in breed and got to compete in the puppy sporting group! Trent is a good sport!
TJ was not left out, he was best hunting English setter at the Ottawa Valley Point dog club and he picked up his first Canadian points by going winners dog at the all-breed on the last day!
Congrats to all the winners and thank you to all the Canadians for their wonderful hospitality and putting on a great show.
Jolene is Festivity BJ's Pretty Little Poison
Trent is Festivity BJ's Livin' on River Time
TJ is Festivity BJ's Southern State of Mind
This Edition's BUFFALO!
Have you ever played Hi Lo Buffalo? – See the game rules below . . .
Start with your “high” - the best part of your day.
Follow with your “low” - something that was tricky, frustrating, or sad.
End with your “buffalo” - something random, funny, or unexpected.
I hope to close each newsletter with a BUFFALO from our gallery . . . sometimes it is hard to choose which one to pick!
