Mac Resumes Therapy Work with a good show!

Mac, age 8 resumed his pet therapy work at nearby Grace Ridge Retirement Community in Morganton, NC. We are in the process to become regular volunteers there and were invited to their third annual dog show.

There were 9 entries total. Awards were given for Best Costume, Best Trick, Cutest and Best Overall. Dogs paraded around to a song of their choosing. Best Overall, Best Costume and Best Trick went to Chester, a resident at Grace Ridge. Mac paraded into, “You’ve got a Friend in Me.” The panel of judges (3 residents) awarded him with “Cutest.” 

We can’t wait to start our regular visits there!! Yay Mac! He loves being everybody’s friend and was a hit!
