AND . . .

Posted on Facebook, November 9 by Martin Sondey – Vivian, Aerdens In The Midnight Hour At Editions JH
. . . Today was a great day for Vivian!! She earned her Junior Hunter (JH) title at the age of six. It was not pretty, but she got the job done. She managed to score one point while a lot of fun was had by flushing birds out of the trees in the woods and choosing to not listen to me. As time expired, she had worn herself out and climbed into the water trough. But, hey - a win is a win!!
Vivi came to me & Helen Porter at the age of two after having a litter. She was a Covid baby and never saw the show ring. Breeders Conny Helms & Karen Corey considered us for her forever home and for that we are forever grateful. Vivi did not start out as a natural hunter, she had to be taught. A few extremely frustrating failures at Hunt Tests showed me that she did indeed possess the instinct, but not the skill. Vivian went 4 for 4 in her last 4 Hunt Tests. Now that she has her title, I look back and see that all that time, training, and effort was worth it. I wouldn't change a thing. I love this little bird dog.

Posted on Facebook, October 20 by Haylee Meadows – Briley, GCHB CH BLU’STARS SUNSET GUNZ & ROSES OF TALISMAN MH CGCA
. . . Pending AKC approval, NEW BRONZE GRAND CHAMPION - This is a bitter sweet post for me. This past weekend my heart dog Briley earned her Bronze Grand Champion by going Best of Breed and OH Group 4 on Saturday and Select on Sunday.
I have decided to retire her from the AKC conformation ring with having a goal in mind. She may be lightly shown just becuase she loves the ring. She has done everything I’ve ever asked her to do.

Posted on Facebook, October 20 by Haylee Meadows – Liberty, CH Huntwoods Sunset Kiss My Brass at Blu’Star
. . . Liberty said “hold my beer mom I got this” finished her AKC Championship (Pending AKC Approval) in style with a 5 point major going Breed over specials the day she turned 18 months old. This show a year ago was the first time Liberty stepped foot into a show ring she went Owner Handled Group 4. Liberty will stay home for a while and grow up and try to get a Junior Hunting title on her.

Posted on Facebook, October 14 by Lynda Chase - Miss Poppy has the Setter sleep position down!

Posted on Facebook, October 8 by Janet Coates - Muffin, GCH Intrigue's Sunshine, Lollipops and Rainbows
. . . God is good! Feeling so blessed! . . . What a year it has been! Muffin has exceeded our goals way beyond our expectations! Not only did she finish her Ch out of bred-by, but in short order she finished her GCH! She is close to earning her Bronze level!
Muff finished the year as the #3 NOH English Setter! She has accomplished her silver level NOH and will be working towards Gold! Along the way, she won multiple NOH Sporting Group placements, NOH Best in Show and Reserved Best in Show and she has won two regular Sporting Group Placements!
We were thrilled to have received her invitation to the NOH finals in Orlando! Win or lose, we plan on having fun at the finals!
